Applications Now Being Accepted for Fall 2020 RAFT Foundations Cohort

Applications to participate in UF’s Research Administration & Financials Training (RAFT) Foundations Cohort due by August 14.

UF’s Division of Sponsored Programs and Contracts & Grants will once again offer a professional development series that provides Sponsored Program Administrators throughout the university with “a lifeline” to the sponsored programs community.

Designed for Sponsored Programs Administrators with one year or less of award management experience, the Research Administration and Financials Training (RAFT) Foundations Cohort is comprised of a twenty session, blended learning series that provides a thorough introduction to all aspects of sponsored programs management at UF. In addition, the RAFT Foundations Cohort is designed to foster peer relationships within the sponsored programs community. Each cohort is limited to a small number of participants to ensure networking and relationship building. Participants who successfully complete the series will be awarded a certificate of completion.

The cohort series will begin in September and continue into December. To participate, you must be able to attend all sessions and have the support of your supervisor. Review our schedule below. Dates are tentative and subject to change. The current syllabus for RAFT Foundations Cohort Fall 2020.

Attendance format is expected to be virtual at this time.
